Controlling Boyfriend…?

That Guy Asked: Controlling Boyfriend…?

So I dont really know what my question is, and I have no idea what to do anymore, so I am just asking for input basically I am 27 and my partner is 26, we are both attractive and we have been together for ten years (since our teens)! I love him like no other, I dont think we have even spent a night without each other, ever.. We live together, share car loans, utilities, rent, and we have a dog and cat together. We seem like the perfect gay couple But there is a dark side. He is very controlling. I have to practically beg for us to just hang out with my family, and when I do, he always has to come (which I dont mind, but just the principle). I have NO friends, I gave up all my friendships for him because he would get mad when I hung out with them. My cousins want to hang out with me but I always have to make excuses After 10 years of excuses, people have started to think I just dont like them which is not the case at all! I am so tired of being cut off from the world. I have a Facebook with about 50 approved friends, most are family that I hardly see and others are old friends that I never see He himself also has no friends, however, he seems to enjoy the solitude more than I Even though sometimes he complains that our lives are boring and we never go out or do anything etcbut this is not my fault, it is his! It is his fault we have no friends because he does not get along with anyone! EVERYTIME we do go out for something (store, restaurant, club, etc.), he will always end up getting mad at some random person in public for some random reason he seems to just hate people The only people we hang out with often are some of his close family. And now lately he got mad because I was getting too buddy buddy on Facebook with an old friend (a girl) from high school that he does not like. He hasnt asked me to delete my Facebook but I know he wants me to I just dont know what to do anymore. I am too far into the relationship to break up with him, this would involve breaking our lease where we live and splitting the cars and pets and honestly, I think we would both go crazy without each other not to mention he would totally blow up (has anger issues) if I told him all this what the HELL to I (or we) do before I go crazy????

To join Army Active Duty or Army National Guard? College or Military?

Jane Asked: To join Army Active Duty or Army National Guard? College or Military?

Hi guys. I want to join the military but I have no idea if I should join Army National Guard or Army Active Duty.

I could enlist in the National Guard and go to a community college, then transfer to a four year university. Afterwards, I would join Active Duty.
*Problems*
1. I already owe over $8,000 from my previous university and can't get my transcripts until that's paid.
2. I can't get a loan for the $8,000. FASFA and the university isn't helping, I got denied even with a cosigner.
3. We're dirt poor. Living on welfare, trying to stop our house from being foreclosed, got our car taken away.
4. I could get deployed while I'm in college.
5. I'm not 100% sure on what I want to major in and what I want my career to be. I was thinking Psychology and to be a detective later.. But I don't know… I also have a huge passion for art and music and I'm extremely artistic, so I've been told.

Credit source One Loan To join Army Active Duty or Army National Guard? College or Military?

I don't think I would want to be an officer. I'd rather get dirty and do the work myself than having to order someone around. I guess I'm better at following orders. I'm also really quiet and reserved. (I'm hoping the military will change that. I hate being quiet)

Or I could enlist in Army Active Duty, then afterwards go to college.
Then I would have a paycheck, be able to travel and go to different places, get more life experience, become more mature and independent.
Then maybe I could really decide what I want to do in life.
Right now I want to work in Law Enforcement, but what if I change my mind in three or fours years from now?
I was also looking into CID, but I'm not really sure. I would need 60 credits and be in the Army for two years or more.
But then, I wouldn't get the "college experience" as my mom said I guess. Even though, I don't drink, party, or do anything illegal or anything.
If I enlist in the Army AD now, could I go to college, then if I really liked the army go back into AD afterwards?

Quitting a job i haven’t started?

Andrew Asked: Quitting a job i haven’t started?

Okay,
so i'm currently at University, and i'm living on my own over Summer (on the campus) and i'm covered for the costs until i get my next loan in September. Now i thought it would be a great idea to get a part time job, i applied to McDonald's, had the interview, got the job and i'm starting my first shift shortly.

However, i have now decided i don't want to work at McDonald's (silly me), because i know i will not want to work there, or that it won't enjoy it. I have previous working experience, as i have worked at Next Retail Store, Restraints, Pubs and even been a Glass Collector in NightClubs. (the last one i hated and eventually quit – Why? If you've done the job you'll know) so i don't believe looking for a new job will be to hard.

Credit source One Loan Quitting a job i havent started?

Now i've got some money to cover me for food etc in the near future, but come August (month before i get my loan in i believe) i will start running short.
Now i don't want to work at McDonald's because in truth….i'm embarrassed….and that's not being offencive, i'm sorry. On top of that i just don't think i could handle working there, i mean i've worked in worse places yes, but they weren't the same as such. I don't know, if anyone has advice for me i'd be much appreciated

Regards.

Need to Work for a Couple of Years to Earn Money for a Career?

Patrick Asked: Need to Work for a Couple of Years to Earn Money for a Career?

I have a Bachelor's degree in General Studies. I need to work for a couple of years in order to earn $20,000 or so to pay for the rest of my flight training for a career in commercial aviation. What sort of a job could I get with my degree and earn enough money in just a couple of years to pay for my training? Would a loan be possible, given the fact that I have no credit?

Will my interest payments be less as my loan decreases?

Bec Asked: Will my interest payments be less as my loan decreases?

I borrowed $6,000. But there was an establishment fee of $150. So the full amouunt is $6,150.

The interest rate is 17%.

Credit source One Loan Will my interest payments be less as my loan decreases?

I made my first repayment of $165 but the interest paid was about $143. So technically I only paid about $23 off my loan this month :/

In about 3 months when I have some savings, I am going to make a lump sum payment of about $1,000. This should technically take my loan down to around $5,100. But, how much will I pay on interest for this payment? Will it be 17% of $5,100 orrr??

how to fitten up an older horse?

bunnymummy Asked: how to fitten up an older horse?

I have just taken on an older horse (early twenties) on full loan from his owner to prevent him being put down because the owner just didn't want him anymore. he does still have a lot of life in him and i think he shows good potential. his owner says that if i get his fitness up i could even try jumping him and see if he can still do it. however i'm not going to push this horse, i'm going to let him tell me when enough is enough, rather than pushing and pushing until it does him harm.
there's nothing wrong with him other than acute arthritis in his back leg. at the moment he is ridden two or three times a week just out on hacks for a couple of hours at a time.
he's a bit lazy but once you make it clear what you want he really can go. he gets breathless quite quickly though.
my question is how can i fitten him up safely and fairly and how long roughly will it take? i'm willing to put in as much effort as is needed, i just want to give this horse a good last few years of his ridden career!
i do have a lot of experience with horses- i have a diploma in equine management and i have been riding and handling them for around nine-ten years. but i don't really have too much experience in this kind of thing.
thank you icon smile how to fitten up an older horse?
